On Saturday, June 8 2019, the screening of the history documentary "The East Has Set" directed by Alexandros Papaeliou with historical consultation by Irini Sarioglou, was completed with great success by the Hellenic History Foundation. The event took place at the Open Theatre of Palea Fokea (Port), Municipality of Saronikos 19013 in collaboration with the Cultural Society of Palea Fokea "Fokaeon Politeia".
The screening of the history documentary of the Hellenic History Foundation (IDISME) "The East Has Set" directed by Alexandros Papaeliou was completed with great success on Wednesday, May 29 2019 at 19:00 at the Municipal Theatre of Pefki. The event was a colalboration between IDISME and Asia Minor Society of Pefki and Likovrisi "Ionia", the Municipality of Likovrisi-Pefki and the Church of Agios Panteleimon of Pefki.
On Wednesday April 3 2019 the Hellenic History Foundation in collaboration with the Unions of Retired Officers of the Air Force, Navy and Army of Athens, successfully screened the history documentary "The Exiled, Erzurum-Ashkale 1943" at the War Museum of Athens.
On Thursday May 2 2019 at the War Museum of Athens the Hellenic History Foundation (IDISME) successfully completed the book launch entitled "The Asia Minor Campaign by Kostas Missaelidis
His Correspondences from the Front (1919-1922)" along with the premiere of the history documentary based on the correspondences entitled "The East Has Set" directed by Alexandros Papaeliou.
The first screening (March 6) of "The East Has Set" at the 21st Thessaloniki Documentary Festival was completed with great success! The new history documentary of the Hellenic History Foundation is part of the Official Programme of the Festival. After the screening, Director Alexandros Papaeliou and Producer-Historical Consultant Irini Sarioglou took questions from the audience!
